Halloween

Halloween is always such fun! It was so nice to have my parents here to enjoy the festivities with us. We started the day out at school for the Costume Parade and classroom parties. So fun to see all of the kids dressed up. Maddie dressed in the cutest Sock Hop costume this year. The cat glasses were the best and she looked adorable. William dressed as a soldier...my little man...cutest soldier ever. Later that evening, the family came over for some tasty dinner and trick-or-treating. As soon as the first trick-or-treater knocked on our door, the kids were out the door. Literally. We had to practically chase after them and Mike, Grandpa Mick and William went one way... and Maddie and the rest of us went the other way. I'm always amazed at how fast it all happens. You'd think I would've learned my lesson by now and would get started with the picture taking sooner. I was barely able to capture the moment!

There is a big ROCK in Anaheim Hills and it's a perfect hike for a family of four and a giant dog. We've enjoyed this hike a couple of times in the last month. Jackson absolutely loves it. You should see him charging up this hill! The first time we went it was hot and I was seriously worried that he was going kick it on us... seriously. He's a big guy but he was so, so happy and free out there and was literally running up the hill. Maddie and William love it too. It makes me want to explore more hikes for our family 'cause we all enjoyed the exercise, time together and beautiful view.

Country Apple Day

The month of October was a blur! Between the stress of changes at work, soccer practices, soccer games, Indian Princess' and Guide's campouts and a trip to Maui...I'm just now catching my breath. I'm backing up to the Country Apple Day they did with the Kindergarten classes at the end of September. I took the morning off to attend and was so glad I did. It was so cute. They had all sorts of different stations set up where the kids did crafts and learning activities all related to Apples. There was even square dancing which was adorable. It was a hot day but the kids all loved it and I captured some sweet pictures of my love William.
